My students are having an absolute BLAST to 'Mast Kalander' in class, its a rockin' party every class this session!
Congrats to my students who won VIP tickets to Verizon's 'Chance Pe Dance' / Celebrate Bollywood Party at Pranna last night 1/21. Bollywood Funk NYC was in the house and had a geat time groovin to the sounds of DJ Bhav Aman Singh. Also had a chance at the party to meet the winners of Verizon's 'Bollypop' dance contest, Shivani Thakkar and Sapna Rohra. Both girls were flown to Bombay and danced in the movie "Chance Pe Dance" alongside Shahid Kapoor! They are fabulous dancers and very sweet gals, had a nice time chatting with them. http://verizon.com/bollypop.
Speaking of 'Chance Pe Dance', the movie only released one week ago on 1/15, and it has already been discontinued in the theatres in Manhattan (less than 1 week), what the hell?!? Even for Bollywood films that were not that well-received, they have lasted longer in theatres than that...barely gave us in NYC area to have a chance to see it!! Kya hua!!?? Main 'Chance Pe Dance' nahin le sakti hoon kyon ki movie theatres film ko le gayi!
