This installment of 'Mid-Heard Hindi' comes compliments of mera boyfriend aur aadhyapak Hindi ko #1 (my boyfriend and #1 Hindi teacher). Yesterday at lunch while constructing completely random sentences in Hindi, here's what happened...

I said: "Main tumhare baal nahin chabaooingi." (I will not bite your hair).
He heard: "Main tumhari maa nahin chabaooingi." (I will not bite your mom).

Disclaimer: For the record, his mom is WONDERFUL person and I would never ever think of biting her, or her hair.
