Maf kar do, I have been M.I.A. due to back-to-back performances with Bollywood Funk NYC in Sept. and Oct, followed by Turkey Day,and life in general. I've managed to see a few films here and there, including 'Break Ke Baad' (just like 'Love Aaj Kal', but still enjoyable), but what I was FLOORED by was this amazing Tamil film recommended called 'Kannathil Muthamittal' ('Peck on the Cheek'). Madhavan (3 Idiots, Rang de Basanti), Simran Bagga, and then-newcomer
and lead actress P.S. Keerthana. The one and only A.R. Rahman composed
the film's score and soundtrack, which paired with the breaktaking
cinematography and storyline, I would put on as high a pedestal as
'Lagaan'.

Lanka at civil war, through the eyes of a child of
